ABOUT

Ello, I am Elisus (he/they)! I am a 26 year old game artist/designer from Greater Manchester, England, and have always had a passion for gaming, with my introduction being Age of Empires 2 & Pokemon FireRed. 
 

In 2018, I obtained a BSc in Games Design, and a Masters degree in Games Development in 2021.

 

I take interest in aspects of game development that revolve around level design, environment art and QA. I wish to create worlds for players to sink their minds into. I also have skills in Unity, UI, VFX's & Lighting, and I am completely willing to further deepen my knowledge and skills of game development. My program skills are in Unreal Engine 4, Unity, Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Krita & Adobe Photoshop - with some minimal knowledge using C#.

 

Once a QA tester (internship) at International Hobo on Shadows: Awakening (2018) for pre-launch support, I am familiar with working in a team-based, deadline heavy environment and also has other experience doing QA for other games. Plus, I have also utilized my QA experience, passion and skills effectively, and successfully for Motorsport Games in a remote QA Analyst position, which I was then was promoted to Mid-Level QA Analyst position after 8 months of working there. I undertook multiple responsibilities and duties during my 11 month period, which I carried out accurately and to the best of my ability. I am currently at Sumo Digital: Leamington in a mid-level QA Tester role, in which I have deepened my skillsets and knowledge of QA since being here for the past 2 years.

Games (@pinkpondgames), an indie project studio that focuses on creating 2D games while at University pursuing my MA degree.

A few favourite games are: GRIS, Mass Effect 2, Spiritfarer, Inside, Limbo, Stardew Valley, Total War: Warhammer 2, What Remains of Edith Finch & Pokemon (prefer the old 2D sprite artstyle than the newer full 3D artstyle). As you can see I enjoy a wide variety of games genres and I'm willing to give anything a try, especially games that has a strong 2D pixel artstyle.

I also love tending house plants, and currently care for a plethora of plants.
